Tell us a love story, win tickets to see Ira Glass at The Ryman

Ira Glass

Still searching for Valentine's Day weekend plans and/or a Valentine's gift? We may be able to help.
The East Nashvillian, alongside Ira Glass, Madstone Productions & Show and Tell in association with the Steven Barclay Agency, will be offering up one more pair of tickets to Saturday, Feb. 15's Reinventing Radio: An Evening with IRA GLASS at Ryman Auditorium. At the show, radio pioneer Glass will recreate This American Life in front of a live audience, sharing new stories and best-of snippets from past episodes.
Wanna win those tickets? Tell us a story. A love story -- ideally yours. It doesn't have to be a happy one, necessarily. And if you're feeling particularly unromantic, go ahead and tell us about how much you love your dog or guitar or particular neighborhood bartender. We'd just like to flip the script and take in your words, since we're usually sharing ours.
Email your story to enter (nicole*at*theeastnashvillian*dot*com) and make it as long or short as you like. Enter by Jan. 31; we'll pick our favorite, and bestow a pair of tickets on the winner. Fair warning: We'll share the winning story -- it's kinda part of the Glass vibe. (If you want to ensure your attendance, you can still buy tickets online.)
Our neighborhood tends not to be too boring, so we're hoping for some interesting stories. Hit us with some love, and happy entering!
By entering, you're agreeing to the Official Contest Rules, which are: There is no purchase necessary to enter. Entries are limited to U.S. residents over the age of 18. Contest entries must be received by Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. 1 winner will be chosen and announced Feb. 3, 2014. Winner will be notified via e-mail and must respond within 2 business days or forfeit the prize, after which a new winner will be chosen. Prize includes 2 tickets to Reinventing Radio: An Evening with IRA GLASS, Feb. 15 at Ryman Auditorium (tickets valued at $49.50 each). Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries. The East Nashvillian maintains the right to publicize the names of contest winners and their entries. Void where prohibited.
